Düsseldorf – ALBIS Leasing AG has acquired a 48.8% minority interest in Gallinat-Bank AG together with the option of acquiring the remaining equity.
A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by Dr Jürgen Frodermann advised Gallinat-Bank AG on all aspects of the transaction.
Gallinat-Bank AG is an established player in the lease refinancing sector. The Essen-based bank remains committed to its other business operations, which include retail and corporate banking services, deposits and payments.
ALBIS Leasing AG acts as a holding company. Established in 1986, the ALBIS Leasing Group operates through subsidiaries in its core business areas: plant and equipment leasing, vendor leasing and financing solutions. ALBIS has a reported turnover in excess of EUR 700 million and serves more than 30,000 SME customers in Germany.
