CMS Hasche Sigle makes room for expansion in Frankfurt

The commercial law firm CMS Hasche Sigle which, with over 420 lawyers, is one of the leading German law firms has moved into new office premises in Frankfurt. As of 21.March 2005 43 lawyers and 49 employees will work in the new offices in the Frankfurt Westend near the old opera, with an area of 4,000 square metres.

"The move was necessary to cope with the rapidly growing business" said Reiner Kurschat, Managing Partner of the Frankfurt office of CMS Hasche Sigle. "The new building has enough space for up to 100 lawyers. Over the course of the years further lawyers will be appointed to the traditionally strong and high-profile areas M&A, Private Equity and Banking. At the end of the year there will already be 50 lawyers. In the medium-term there is a plan to expand other areas, including real property and construction."

The key areas of activity of the office which also has a notary's office are M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital, corporate , banking and capital markets, employment, competition and procurement law as well as property, construction and the environment.
