Frankfurt/Main – Funds advised by IceLake have acquired a majority stake in the infrastructure consultancies quattron and NEXTRAIL. The operational shareholders will continue to manage the companies in the future and will retain a significant interest as co-investors. Merging quattron and NEXTRAIL in partnership with IceLake will create a leading European consulting, digitalisation and realisation partner for critical network infrastructures in the rail, energy and telecommunications sectors. According to the Lünendonk® List 2024, quattron is one of the "Top 20 German management consultancies". Together with NEXTRAIL, quattron will continue to strengthen this position.
NEXTRAIL and quattron have a partner in IceLake that has extensive buy-and-build experience by their side to promote further inorganic growth through add-on acquisitions in the areas of consulting, engineering and software development in the DACH region and internationally.
A CMS team headed by Lead Partner Dr Hendrik Hirsch provided IceLake with comprehensive legal advice on the simultaneous implementation of the two transactions, in particular on the purchase agreement, shareholders' agreement and reinvestment.
