Hamburg – Listed company CTS Eventim GmbH & Co. KGaA has agreed a joint venture involving figure skating show Holiday on Ice with Stage Entertainment Group of the Netherlands. Eventim is acquiring half of the shares in Holiday on Ice from the Dutch theatre and show group. The purchase price was not disclosed. The new partners intend to drive forward international expansion of the show.
A cross-border team led by lead partner Dr Henrik Drinkuth advised CTS Eventim on the sale from the start.
CTS Eventim is a leading European ticketing company and also organises concerts and other major events. Stage Entertainment is one of the biggest organisers of theatre and show events in the world, producing musicals such as The Phantom of the Opera and The Lion King.
