Andreas specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration, representing clients in high-stakes, multinational disputes across diverse jurisdictions. He brings extensive experience navigating the procedural rules of major arbitral institutions, including ICSID, ICC, LCIA, SIAC, HKIAC, DIS, KCAB, ICDR (AAA), and UNCITRAL.
His practice covers a broad range of sectors and subject matters, including energy, construction and infrastructure, investment abroad, joint ventures, M&A, international trade, intellectual property, life sciences, licensing, and other commercial contracts.
He has successfully represented clients in cross-border disputes arising in, relating to, or involving parties from the United States, the United Kingdom, Asia, Africa, and Europe. Andreas is experienced in handling disputes under both common law and civil law legal systems and has acted in matters governed by the laws of numerous jurisdictions, including Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Algeria, Vietnam, and Thailand, as well as various other jurisdictions across the EMEA, APAC, and North American regions.
Andreas joined CMS in 2026. Prior to this, he was a member of the International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation team at Kim & Chang in Seoul (2022–2026). He began his legal career in Germany, where he practised with White & Case and ARQIS between 2018 and 2022.
