Carl Prior specialises in intellectual property law and advises and represents national and international companies from various sectors, particularly in patent infringement proceedings. He also provides advice on matters relating to life sciences and healthcare as well as EU competition law particularly EU state aid law. Admitted to the bar on 1 January 2023 Carl Prior joined CMS on 1 January 2026 having previously worked at an international commercial law firm including a secondment to London.
