Christoph Löffler is a counsel in the Corporate / M&A practice of CMS. He advises on national and international transactions primarily in the field of energy and infrastructure projects. His clients comprise strategic and financial investors. He also advises on the establishment of joint ventures and national and cross-border transformations as well as founders and investors in venture capital transactions.

Christoph Löffler joined CMS in 2016 after having worked as a research assistant at an international law firm as well as at the University of Halle.

In 2024 and 2025, Christoph Löffler was seconded to the inhouse legal team of a German strategic investor in the renewable energy sector where he gained valuable insights into the client perspective.
