Hagen Trübenbach advises national and international companies on all labor and employment law matters. Main focuses of his practice are data protection and the implementation and use of IT systems in the workplace, including artificial intelligence (AI) systems. He also has in-depth expertise in all matters relating to works councils, and in anti-discrimination law (including the EU Pay Transparency Directive), as well as in compliance matters, (international) transactions and the structuring of remuneration systems. In addition, he supports companies in implementing the Pay Transparency Directive, in particular in designing legally compliant transparent remuneration structures, establishing information and reporting processes, and implementing appropriate compliance measures.
He is a member of the sector cluster Digitalisation & Technology and the Focus Group AI/Robotic/IoT. Hagen is also an AI ambassador in the Labor and Employment Law practice group.
Hagen joined CMS in 2023, after having specialised in employment law during his studies and legal training, including a PhD in employment law.
