Insa Nutzhorn advises German and international companies on all aspects of environmental, planning, mining and energy law. She is specialised in complex approval and planning procedures, e.g., for infrastructure projects, power and industrial plants as well as projects that require water permits. Her clients mainly include primary sector businesses, energy and industrial companies as well as public bodies. Insa represents her clients either out-of-court or before administrative and constitutional courts.
Insa joined CMS in 2013 and has been a principal counsel since 2023. In 2016, she was seconded to an international energy group where she worked in the environmental law department, focussing on water law matters.
