With a particular interest in cases involving technical issues, Klaus-Dieter Schick specialises in private construction and real estate law, including commercial leases, as well as commercial law. He advises developers, building contractors and planners on contracts and during construction projects and has particular expertise in all legal matters relating to architects‘ fees and real estate agents. In his commercial practice, Klaus-Dieter concentrates on advising automotive suppliers and mechanical engineering companies, with a focus on supply contracts, including the related warranty issues, as well as on product liability. He also handles professional liability cases involving lawyers, architects or engineers. Klaus-Dieter is a very experienced litigator.
Klaus-Dieter started his legal career in a medium-sized law firm in Stuttgart in 1990. He joined CMS in 1993 and has been a partner since 1999. For many years Klaus-Dieter has been a member of the executive committee of the Stuttgart Bar Association.
