As a lawyer specialising in labor law, Martin Lützeler advises German and foreign multinational companies on all labor law issues, specifically, risk topics (health and safety at work, compliance) and comparable issues with an increased potential for liability. His advisory work always focuses on his clients' business interests and finding practical solutions.
Health & Safety, Working Time, Temporary Work
Martin Lützeler is one of the outstanding experts in legal consulting on occupational health and safety. He brings together company practice and the practice of law. In addition, he provides advice regarding the use of external employees (temporary agency work, employment of freelancers, contracts for work and services) or the application of agile solutions ("Scrum & Co").
Compliance
In compliance matters, he advises employers on the topics code of conduct, compliance officers and whistleblower hotlines and assists employers with regard to the clarification of criminal offences committed by employees, represents them in labor disputes and advises them with regard to the recovery of losses.

Labor and Employment Law
Moreover Martin Lützeler provides comprehensive labor and employment law advice in the context of, for example, reorganisations and personnel adjustment measures, works agreements, reconciliation of interests agreements or social compensation plans or employment contracts, remuneration systems, transfers or different types of dismissal. He negotiates with works councils on issues such as employee participation and in conciliation committees and advises his clients on all the legal requirements regarding the involvement of works councils that German employers have to adhere to when giving staff notice, including proceedings to replace the consent of the works council. His labor law practice covers all legal issues that employers might face with regard to individual employees.
His practice includes representing employers in labor courts and in administrative procedures, such as at the Integration Office (Integrationsamt, the German equal employment opportunities commission) and in proceedings involving the German retirement insurance agency and health insurance providers, employers' liability insurance associations, accident insurance providers or the Office for Occupational Health and Safety.
He regularly publishes articles on his main areas of expertise in specialist journals.
