Patrick Lühr advises private equity- and venture capital funds on national and international M&A transactions. He has particular experience in complex international private equity and M&A transactions, such as GP-led secondaries as well as cross-border transactions. In addition, he advises founders, shareholders as well as national and international groups on the acquisition or sale of undertakings, on joint ventures, reorganisations and on all other aspects of corporate law.

Patrick's industry knowledge includes technology (especially information technology) and the pharmaceutical sector. He is a member of CMS's excellence clusters Private Equity and M&A/TMC.

Patrick joined CMS in 2014 and became a partner in 2025. In 2022 he was seconded to the CMS office in London.
