Sara Ludwig advises and represents companies in crisis situations on issues of restructuring and insolvency law, including the German Act on the Stabilisation and Restructuring Framework for Businesses (StaRUG). She acts on behalf of both companies and their creditors within and outside insolvency proceedings, including in cross-border proceedings. At the interface with procedural law, she supports clients in enforcing and defending against, among other things, insolvency avoidance claims, directors' and officers' liability claims and legal protection in connection with StaRUG proceedings.
Sara Ludwig started her career as a lawyer at CMS in 2025.
