Stefanie Kern has many years of experience advising on real estate transactions and real estate M&A. She advises institutional and private equity investors from Germany and abroad, family offices, banks as well as national and international companies on real estate transactions of all kinds, both asset and share deals as well as sale & lease-back transactions, portfolio transactions and real estate outplacements. She also provides advice on real estate law in connection with project developments, portfolio and asset management and real estate financing. Her expertise also includes advising on all aspects of heritable building rights and commercial tenancy law.
In addition to her client work, Stefanie Kern regularly publishes and lectures on real estate law and is a lecturer at the IREBS Real Estate Academy.
Stefanie Kern has been working as a lawyer since 2005 and was made partner of a large Anglo-American law firm in 2016. She moved to CMS in 2025.
