Thomas Jansen specialises in company and corporate group law. The focus of his work is on the law governing public limited companies, where he deals in particular with corporate governance issues. He advises companies on restructuring as well as on D&O liability and compliance cases. He has particular experience in drafting liability opinions and articles of association as well as rules of procedure for boards of directors and supervisory boards in complex group structures. He also advises companies in the financial sector on issues related to company and financial supervisory law. His clients include listed companies and SMEs.
Thomas Jansen started his legal career at CMS in 2019, where he was appointed counsel in 2024.
