Torsten Lörcher specialises in international dispute resolution with a focus on arbitration. He is also well versed in alternative dispute resolution and an experienced litigator. His practice concentrates on post-M&A disputes, plant engineering and other disputes of a technical nature as well as general commercial disputes, often in the energy or pharmaceutical sectors. He regularly acts as party representative and arbitrator in German and international arbitration proceedings.

Torsten joined CMS in 1999 and has been a partner since 2007. From 2001 to 2005, he co-chaired the LCIA Young International Arbitration Group and from 2002 to 2007, he coordinated the German Institution of Arbitration‘s group of young arbitrators (DIS 40). Since December 2021 he has been a member of the Board of the DIS.
