CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre appoints its new Management Board

On 15 June 2016, CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre's Partnership Council appointed a new Management Board composed of four partners: Pierre-Sébastien Thill, Laurent Marquet de Vasselot, Philippe Grousset and Laurent Hepp.

The members are Pierre-Sébastien Thill (Managing Partner), Laurent Marquet de Vasselot, Philippe Grousset and Laurent Hepp.

The term of the new Management Board will run from 1 July 2016 for a period of four years.

Pierre-Sébastien Thill, 60, joined CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre in 1984 and became a partner in 1993. He sat on the Management Board from 2000 to 2004, and was then appointed Chair of the Management Board from 2004 to 2012 and Chair of the Partnership Council from 2012 to 2015. He was also the Chair of CMS' Executive Committee (2003-2008) and a member until 2012. He has a Master (DESS) in business law from the Université d'Aix-Marseille (corporate counsel programme).

Laurent Marquet de Vasselot, 54, joined CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre in 1991 and became a partner in 1998. A member of the Partnership Council from 2009 to 2012, he has also been a member of the Management Board since 2012. A specialist in employment law, he graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques of Paris in 1984 with a Master of Advanced Studies (DEA) in law. He has a PhD in private law and is a Professor at the Panthéon-Assas Faculty (Paris II). He was a member of the Bar Council from 2006 to 2009.

Philippe Grousset, 56, joined CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre in 1986 and became a partner in 1998. A member of the Partnership Council from 2004 to 2010, his term was renewed in 2013. He has a Master II in business law (1985, corporate counsel programme) and is in charge of the taxation law programme at the Université de Montpellier. He is also the former Chairman and Director of the Institut des Avocats Conseil Fiscaux (IACF).

Laurent Hepp, 48, joined CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre in 1992 and became a partner in 2004. He has been a member of the Partnership Council since 2012. A specialist in taxation, he graduated from EM Lyon (1990) and has a Master in business law from the Université de Paris II-Assas (1991) and a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the London School of Economics (1992).

Today, CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre's team of 600 employees includes 380 lawyers, 104 of whom are partners.
