Sale of Tagerim's property management activities to the Foncia Group – CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advises Tagerim

14/10/2013

CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advised the Tagerim Group on the sale of its property management division to the Foncia Group. This transaction was the largest acquisition by Foncia in the last 20 years.

The Foncia Group’s network of almost 600 branches is incorporating the entire property management division of Tagerim, currently the eighth largest player on the French residential market. This transaction will allow Tagerim to speed up the expansion of its property development and hotel activities. It also reinforces Foncia’s position as a European leader in the residential services market, by making its branch network more dynamic and continuing its expansion in the main real-estate sectors.

Tagerim was advised in relation to this transaction by CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre with Philippe Rosenpick, partner, Alexandre Delhaye and Emmanuelle Brunel for Corporate/M&A aspects and Lionel Lenczner, partner, and Anne-Sophie Rostaing for tax aspects.

Foncia was advised by DLA Piper, with Michel Frieh, partner, and Matthieu Lampel for Corporate aspects; Guillaume Valois, partner, and Géraldine Péchiné for tax aspects; Philippe Danesi, partner, and Stéphanie Schindle for HR aspects; and Lionel Rosenfeld, partner, for real-estate aspects of the transaction.

Mayer Brown also advised Foncia on financing aspects, with Patrick Teboul, partner, and Maud Bischoff.
