Sonepar new Euro PP: CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advisor to the lead managers

Sonepar, an international specialist in distributing electrical equipment and associated services for professionals, has successfully issued its first private placement bond in the form of a Euro PP (maturing in 8 years) and has raised €220 million from various corporate investors.

For this operation CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre acted as a consultant for the lead underwriter, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank. The CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre team comprised Marc-Etienne Sébire (partner) and Myriam Issad (associate).

Sonepar was advised by Bredin Prat, whose team comprised Raphaële Courtier (partner), Marie-Amélie Simon-Pangaud and Marion Genova (colleagues specialised in funding) and Pierre-Henri Durand (partner specialised in tax issues).

CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre and Bredin Prat had already acted, respectively, as legal counsel for the lead underwriters and for Sonepar in the context of two previous Euro PP operations for a total of €75 million in February 2013 and €70 million in November 2014.
