Dimitar joined CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats in 2001, and is part of the tax department. Since 2020, he is the co-head of CMS International Private Clients group.

Part of the Firm’s tax department, he regularly assists High Net Worth individuals: tax residence aspects, international remuneration policy, estate planning, structuring of inbound and outbound investments, especially in luxury real estate, hotel businesses and vineyards. He also deals with the international mobility of executives and top employees, for French and International groups.

Dimitar also specialises in the treatment of foreign trusts and similar structures.

From a compliance perspective, he coordinates questions related to French exit tax, and also yearly filing duties of individuals (income tax, wealth tax), and filing duties of trustees.

Lecturer at the University of Strasbourg and speaker at several conferences, he regularly writes articles about international taxation (impatriates regime, exit tax etc.).
