Renaud Grob joined CMS Francis Lefebvre in 1994 and became a partner in 2004.

He practices in tax law with a focus on direct taxation issues for corporate clients, including corporation tax, tax consolidation, taxation of dividends, under-capitalisation, tax agreements, and tax credits.

He also advises and assists companies on financial taxation (including advising numerous financial institutions / taxation of financial products), taxation of restructuring operations (mergers, transfer of all assets and liabilities, spin-offs, demergers), arrangement and negotiation of approval applications (branches, transfer of deficits, contribution-allocation), property taxation ((acquisition and disposal of property and of shares in companies whose main assets are real estate; outsourcing to property investment companies (SIIC-SPPICAV), construction leases, payment in kind, contribution of land to civil construction and sale companies (SCCV), construction, revaluation)), tax audits (negotiation of customised solutions with the tax authorities or the Minister's office, monitoring of tax litigation), transaction taxation (acquisition, disposal, leveraged buyouts), taxation of compensation (stock options, bonus share allocations, employee profit-sharing, incentive schemes, etc.).
