Sabine Rigaud is Counsel in the IP/IT team of CMS Francis Lefebvre. She focuses on intellectual property law, particularly trademark and design law.
Her practice covers litigation (infringement actions before civil and criminal courts, actions before the IP Offices for cancellation and revocation, oppositions) as well as advice and drafting of contracts (coexistence agreements, assignment and licensing). She assists investment funds in their projects and conducts due diligences of IP rights.
She advises her clients on filing strategies and manages rights portfolios, in coordination with a network of correspondents.
She also advises luxury, ready-to-wear and cosmetics companies on ambassador and talent contracts, IP rights clearances, risk assessments and campaign validations.
Sabine has also developed a particular expertise in the art sector: she assists foundations, museums and individuals in their acquisitions and loans of artworks and in the contractual framework of their artistic events.
Sabine Rigaud has been a lawyer since 2010 and joined CMS Francis Lefebvre after having practiced in law firms (August Debouzy and Jones Day), luxury goods company (Christian Dior Couture) and an art gallery.
