He has a broad range of experience in the areas of banking law and securities law. Having worked at the National Bank of Hungary for 5 years, he has particular experience in regulatory banking and derivatives.

Árpád is experienced in working on restructuring and insolvency matters having advised multinational companies across various sectors. Much of his work is transactional, relating to property financing, asset financing, project financing and portfolio transfers. He also advises on issues relating to investment funds and insurance enterprises.

Erste Bank on significant transactions, including the acquisition of Citibank’s consumer business in Hungary, the take over of the Wealth Management unit of the Hungarian branch of BNP Paribas, the merger of 4 ERSTE subsidiaries (leasing and factoring companies), various property financing transactions and the validation of security documents under CRD and CRR rules.
A multilateral development bank on a EUR 314m loan granted by a group of banks to the Hungarian gas storage company, MMBF.
MET Holding on the cross-border refinancing and gas trade financing of MET by a consortium of banks.
