Balázs is an associate in the Finance team at CMS Budapest.
Balázs graduated from Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Law (Budapest) with a cum laude distinction in 2018. Before joining the Budapest office, Balázs spent six years in the Banking & Finance practice group in the Budapest office of Baker McKenzie, handling syndicated lending, acquisition finance, real estate finance, project finance, structured finance, financial regulatory, including investment funds, capital markets (debt as well as equity) and derivatives matters. He previously worked as an attorney in the Budapest office of DLA Piper and at Jalsovszky Law Firm.
During his studies at Eötvös Loránd University, Balázs attended the 13th Willem C. Vis (East) International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong and its pre-moot in Shanghai, as well as the 23rd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna and its respective pre-moots in Milan, Rome, Brno and Budapest as a member of the Eötvös Loránd University team.
