Dávid is a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution team at CMS Budapest. 

Dávid graduated from Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Faculty of Law (Budapest) in 2010. 

Before joining the Budapest office, Dávid spent five years in the Competition and Dispute Resolution Group at Andrékó Ferenczi Kinstellar law firm, handling all litigation matters including civil-employment- and administrative litigation, as well as arbitration matters. 

He previously worked as an attorney-at-law at Hegymegi-Barakonyi and Partner Baker & McKenzie law firm, also specialising in dispute resolution.

Dávid additionally has broad experience in tax litigation and competition law due to time spent at Réti, Várszegi & Partners law firm PwC Legal.

  • A leading Hungarian energy company – representing the client in various legal proceedings against the implementation of a special tax.
  • A multinational wheel manufacturing company – representing the client in a contractual dispute.
  • A multinational financial institution – representing the client in a dispute related to a construction project.
  • A multinational discount retailer chain – representing the client in legal proceedings against various authorities.
  • A multinational oil and gas company – representing the client in various proceedings related to obligation to disclose public information.
  • SAP – on the Complex litigation against Saneidos Innovation Plc..
  • Banca Intesa SanPaolo / CIB Bank Hungary - on a case initiated by the state-owned intercity bus company (Volán) and the Government Control Office against CIB Bank, and two intermediary companies in connection to a lease for busses. 
  • One of the largest wheel manufacturers – on representing the client in front of the Hungarian courts in the two respective cases, initiated to claim damages.
