Dorottya is a senior associate in the Finance team at CMS Budapest.

She joined the firm in 2012, specialising in banking and international finance. 

Dorottya regularly provides legal advice to clients in connection with real estate, corporate and project financings. She has ained significant experience in restructuring and banking regulatory issues and in loan portfolio transactions. 

Areas of expertise include corporate finance, project finance, real estate finance, aircraft finance, loan portfolio transfers and financial services.

Relevant experience

  • Intesa Sanpaolo and CIB Bank on the sale of a non-performing corporate loan portfolio of approximately 35 connections to a consortium of a leading global alternative investment fund manager and a property investment, utilization and development company. The portfolio is viewed as the benchmark transaction for corporate NPL sales in Hungary.
  • A consortium of foreign and Hungarian banks on the refinancing of MMBF.
  • Erste Bank Hungary
    • on the refinancing of the Spiral Office Building;
    • on the restructuring of loans of the Appeninn group and the refinancing of an office building in Budapest;
    • on the financing of the acquisition of three office building in Budapest by the Indotek group;
    • on the restructuring of certain properties, such as the restructuring of East-West Business Center, a high quality class ”A” office building, and the restructuring of Hajdú-Nívó, the largest shopping center in Debrecen.
  • Bluehouse on the financing of the acquisition of a Hungarian office building and a Tesco hypermarket in Budapest. 
  • An Irish real estate fund on the sale of a 5-star hotel in Budapest.
  • A German real estate fund on the financing and refinancing of several category ”A” office buildings in Budapest. 
  • Bricostore S.A.S. on the Hungarian restructuring process. 
  • Various bank consortiums and aircraft leasing companies in relation to aircraft financing and aircraft regulatory matters.
