Gergely is an associate in the employment team at CMS Budapest.

Gergely has extensive experience advising clients on a wide range of employment matters, including restructuring, collective redundancies, business transfers, labour law litigations, drafting internal policies, and assisting with labour inspections. He is also experienced in drafting, negotiating and terminating employment-related contracts and collective bargaining agreements for Hungarian, German and other multinational companies.

Before joining CMS, he worked at Audi HUNGÁRIA Zrt. in Győr as an in-house legal referent, where he gained in-depth knowledge of working time regulations and collective labour law. 

In addition to the automotive industry, he has several years’ experience in social security law, immigration matters and labour safety law.

  • A soft-drink manufacturer on a complex and high value employment litigation involving a damages claim by a former employee. 
  • A major participant in the aviation industry on all legal aspects of its greenfield project in Miskolc/Hungary, including employment advice. 
  • An automotive company on the employment law aspects of their company establishment in Debrecen.
  • A food chain company on ongoing employment law advice, including regular labour law training. 
  • A major participant in the bopet film industry on its immigration and company establishment matters. 
  • A company producing contact lenses on its labour safety matters. 
  • A major company in the hospitality business on its labour law matters. 
  • An American global investment management corporation on various labour law and labour safety matters on an ongoing basis.
