József Várady is a Partner in the Real Estate Team of CMS Budapest. He advises on property acquisitions, developments, constructions and leasing involving retail, office, warehouse and residential properties. He also represents clients in litigation matters related to the real estate sector. He also has experience in corporate deals, financing transactions and tax matters.

József is fluent in German and advises German speaking clients as a member of the “German desk” of CMS.

  • Zeus Capital on the acquisition of Váci Corner office building located in Budapest, Hungary by way of acquiring the 100% of the shares.
  • Bluehouse on the sale of the Infopark E office building and represented in an arbitration procedure regarding a dispute with an anchor tenant.
  • Mota Engil on the sale of a major development site in South Buda.
  • A multinational bank on the acquisition and sale of a portfolio of landmark real estate properties located in Hungary.
  • An institutional investor on the sale of a portfolio of developments plots and the complex corporate restructuring enabling the sale of the properties through a “share deal”.
  • An institutional investor on the acquisition of 50% of a shopping centre in Budapest through a share deal.
  • Credit Agricole on the sale of its headquarters in downtown Budapest.
