László is a senior associate in the real estate team at CMS Budapest, who joined CMS in 2014. He graduated from Eötvös Loránd University, Hungary, in 2012 and obtained an LL.M. in European and International Business Law from the University of Vienna in 2014. In 2020, he earned an additional LL.M. in Environmental Law from Eötvös Loránd University.

László has in-depth experience in a wide range of real estate transactions, including property acquisitions, development and construction projects, and commercial lease agreements, including the preparation and negotiation of transactional documents. In addition, László has substantial experience in the field of environmental law and advises clients on environmental issues, including regarding waste management, soil and groundwater contamination matters, EPR and liability issues. 

László also advises clients on the legal aspects of ESG regulations, supporting them in navigating the increasingly complex ESG compliance landscape.

Relevant experience

  • A major German OEM on all issues concerning a major plant in Hungary. The CMS Real Estate and Energy teams worked together to support the full lifecycle of the project, covering complex construction and permitting matters, as well as the development of on-site renewable energy and EV charging infrastructure.
  • A major multinational waste recycling and paper product manufacturing company on a waste management framework agreement for paper waste, the most significant waste management contract in the Hungarian market.
  • KOSTAL on setting up its SSC in Hungary, including the lease agreement for its new office building complex.
  • Futureal on the acquisition of an office building and on a large-scale residential project.
    Zeus Capital on the acquisition of the Váci Corner office building in Budapest by acquiring the 100% of the shares.
  • Atenor Group on the sale of a fully leased ESG-certified office and retail building in Budapest.
    Helloparks on the sale of logistics halls in Páty. 
  • An international investment platform on the sale of its strip mall portfolio in Hungary (Revetas).
  • A Hungarian hospitality operator in a complex litigation related to a possessory action by a neighbouring property owner regarding a restaurant operated by the client in Budapest (Rosinter).
  • A global life sciences company on the negotiation and execution of its new office lease agreement in Hungary. (ThermoFisher)
    Panattoni on its development of built-to-suit manufacturing facilities in Debrecen and Kecskemét as a development manager, and on its logistics hub development in in Üllő.
