Szabina is an associate of the finance team in CMS London. She graduated from Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary in 2007. 

Areas of expertise include finance transactions (general corporate, M&A, real estate, project and asset finance), restructuring & insolvency and regulatory advice regarding financial services.

Relevant Experience in financing matters:

  • Syndicated transactions (general corporate and M&A) in CEE.
  • banks and investors on commercial and residential property finance deals at UK.
  • Analysing LMA and LSTA template based syndicated credit agreements made in various jurisdictions.
  • Banks and borrowers on large-scale real estate investments.
  • Ppre-delivery debt finance and sale and leasebacks of aircrafts.
  • Producers and banks on film finance.

Relevant Experience in regulatory matters:

  • Hungarian banks regarding the implementation of CRD and PSD and in connection with CRR.

Relevant Experience in restructuring and insolvency matters:

  • EBRD and the Ministry of Justice of Hungary in a reform of the Bankruptcy Act and by-laws and the transposition of the EU Directive on preventive restructuring frameworks.
  • Corporate and financial restructuring of the BorsodChem Group.
  • A Hungarian creditor in a debt settlement procedure with regard to a Hungarian municipality.
  • Representation of the major European automobile manufacturers in liquidation proceedings of their Hungarian supplier, including asset transfer.
  • On restructuring real estate projects.
