Viktória is an associate in the finance team at CMS’s Budapest office.

Viktória graduated from Eötvös Loránd University in 2016. Before joining CMS, she worked as an in-house counsel and for an international law firm as a paralegal, where she gained knowledge of real estate law and dispute resolution issues.

Viktória has experience in various acquisition, project, hotel, corporate and real estate financings and re-financings (including domestic and cross-border transactions), legal due diligences, and is experienced in reviewing, drafting and negotiating finance documents such as facility agreements and security agreements. She has also participated in numerous banking regulatory and licensing matters, as well as portfolio transfers in real estate and project financing.

  • GMT on numerous EUR 100m+ cross-border international financings.
  • MKB Bank on a complex, large volume matter, on the restructuring, financing and later on the sale of a shopping mall in Budapest.
  • Bluehouse, a Greek investor (with UniCredit as lender), on the acquisition and financing of a Tesco hypermarket in Budapest.
  • Erste Bank and Eximbank on the restructuring of Hunguest Hotels in Hungary.
  • A fund management company on the restructuring and bankruptcy process of two large real estate companies with a deal value of over EUR 60m.
  • MKB Bank on the TIGAZ refinancing, where MKB Bank was the agent and three further banks were involved in the transaction.
  • Several major Hungarian banks on drafting and reviewing security agreements and other documents relating to different types of financing and refinancing transactions.
  • A consortium of banks (OTP Bank, Budapest Bank, Commerzbank AG and K&H Bank Hungary) on a complex syndicated loan refinancing for the largest bio ethanol producer, Pannonia Bio, covering all of the client’s financial indebtedness.
  • GTC on:
    • refinancing Avenue Mall, the largest shopping mall in Croatia;
    • the Greenheart project, financing for a residential park in Serbia;
    • financing for Ada Mall in Croatia;
    • financing for three PV projects in Hungary.
