Zsófia is a senior associate in the real estate team at CMS Budapest.

She graduated from the University of Szeged in Hungary in 2011. She completed a five-month traineeship in Brussels at the Council of the European Union in 2012.

In 2020 she spent eight months on secondment at Cordia replacing the Head of Legal.

Zsófia has in-depth experience in a wide range of real estate matters, including sale and purchase transactions, development and construction projects, commercial lease agreements and due diligence investigations, including the preparation and negotiation of transactional documents.

Relevant experience

  • A French real estate investment company on the EUR 77.1m acquisition of an office building in Budapest.
  • Union Investment on the acquisition of the Szervita Square Building.
  • Atenor on a new lease agreement for an office building in Budapest.
  • GTC White House on support with several lease agreements and the sale of White House, a historic loft building offering 2,000 sq. ft. of modern, unique office space, while the new part of the building has 19,500 sq. ft. of office space.
  • NEPI Rockcastle Plc on the acquisition of Arena Plaza, the second largest retail centre in Budapest, by: (i) the purchase of all the issued shares in and shareholder loan receivables against Symmetry Arena Ingatlankezelo, the owner of the mall, from Lanebridge Investment Management Limited; and (ii) the purchase of senior loan receivables from a consortium of financing banks.
  • Torony Real Estate Investment Fund, managed by Diófa Alapkezelő, on the acquisition of the Alkotás Point office building in Buda.
  • Magyar Posta Takarek Ingatlan Befektetesi Alap a real estate fund owned by Magyar Posta and managed by Diofa Alapkezelo Zrt, on the acquisition of Infopark Building, an office complex from CA Immobilien Anlagen AG. Infopark Building A, which has a floor area of 13,700 sq. m.
  • One of the largest shopping malls in Hungary on the full restructuring of its operations.
