On 9 February 2022 was enacted the revised version of the Luxembourg Securitisation Law, providing a more flexible and adapted regime in line with the current market trends and needs.
The new version of the Securitisation Law provides key changes which will definitely impact the activities of market players of the Luxembourg financial sector.
In particular, the revised Securitisation Law will allow the (i) the financing through loans, (ii) an active management of debt portfolios under specific conditions as well as (iii) the structuration of securitisation vehicles under new legal forms.
