CMS has assisted the shareholders of Witec, a developer and manufacturer of high-end precision and high-tech parts and systems, in the sale of a majority stake to Gimv, a listed investor in innovative companies.
Witec is based in Stadskanaal, the Netherlands and, with around 130 employees, operates as a 'contract design manufacturer' for innovative and high-tech precision parts and (sub)systems. Its customers include chip machine manufacturer ASML and the University Medical Center Groningen. In recent years, the company's turnover has been growing steadily at around 20% a year.

The CMS team was led by Pieter van Duijvenvoorde and further consisted of Robert Jong, Bob Barnhoorn, Anton Louwinger, Gieneke van Nierop, Diana Marukyan, Jarrik Haust, Robin Sijbesma and Iris Zeilstra.
