Renewable Energy & Energy Transition

In recent years, the Peruvian government has fostered renewable energy projects, given its goal to reduce consumption of traditional fossil fuels employed in power generation.

CMS Grau is well-capable of advising on renewable energy projects involving wind, solar, biomass, geothermal and hydropower, from the early stages of design, development and construction, to their fully operative stage.

Furthermore, climate change has caused major businesses, including industrial, mining and, of course, traditional oil & gas and power companies, to adopt commitments towards the reduction of carbon emissions in their operations and to look for alternative low carbon solutions. Some countries have implemented policies in that direction while others are in the process of implementing them, in order to meet the requirements established by the 2015 Paris Agreement.

At CMS Grau’s Energy & Climate Change practice, which teams with the relevant global CMS group, you will find an integrated specialised team with a truly global footprint and remarkable full range comprehension of the renewable energy projects and energy transition projects with new low carbon technologies, such as electromobility and hydrogen-based projects.
