CMS Grau advised the Real Estate Investment Fund Sura Asset Management II (SURA) as the borrower of a medium-term loan, structured by Banco BTG Pactual S.A.: - Cayman Branch (BTG), intended for the refinancing of the fund's debts with third parties (the “Loan”).
SURA is a real estate investment fund duly registered with the Public Registry of the Securities Market of the Superintendence of the Securities Market (SMV) under the General Regime, which was structured and is managed by Fondos Sura SAF S.A.C.
The Loan will be backed by a package of guarantees, including a mortgage granted by SURA on a property it owns. The closing of the transaction took place on May 9, 2024, while the funds were disbursed by BTG in favor of SURA on May 15, 2024 and September 12, 2024.
