Causeway Securities Establishes Portuguese Investment Firm with CMVM Authorisation, Advised by CMS Portugal
UK-based investment firm Causeway Securities has successfully established a subsidiary in Portugal, further strengthening its presence in the European market.
The newly incorporated Portuguese entity has been authorised by the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) as an investment firm, enabling Causeway Securities to provide regulated investment services within the jurisdiction.
The entire authorization and incorporation process was supported by CMS Portugal, whose legal team provided comprehensive advice throughout all stages of the project. The CMS team was led by partner Francisco Xavier Almeida, with the support of senior associate Gonçalo Cabral de Moncada.
