CMS Portugal advised Open Cosmos on the acquisition of Connected, a Portuguese startup specializing in data transmission solutions from space.
Connected will now become a business unit dedicated to IoT connectivity at Open Cosmos, and its 22 employees will join the 18-person team that the British company already employs in Portugal.
To advise the British company, which develops, builds, and operates complete satellite missions, CMS Portugal relied on a team led by Corporate M&A Partner João Caldeira, which also included Senior Associate André Guimarães and Associate Ana Rita Santos.
