CMS Portugal appoints two new Equity Partners

CMS Portugal has strengthened its Equity Partners team with João Leitão Figueiredo, from the TMC – Technology, Media & Communications, Intellectual Property and Health and Life Sciences practice area, and Nuno Alves Mansilha, from the Lusophone Africa practice area.

João Leitão Figueiredo, Partner in the TMC practice area – Technology, Media & Communications, Intellectual Property and Health and Life Sciences, who has spent his entire career at CMS Portugal, has worked mainly in the areas of intellectual and industrial property, copyright and technology, providing ongoing legal advice on TMT and IP matters, particularly in the protection of intangible assets, innovation, technology and digital business models.

Nuno Alves Mansilha is a Partner in the Portuguese-speaking Africa practice area and works in mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, foreign investment, joint venture structuring, privatisations, concessions, restructurings, infrastructure projects, and commercial contracts.
