José Luís Arnaut, in an interview with Líder Legal, on current developments at CMS and in the legal sector

The Managing Partner of CMS Portugal, José Luís Arnaut, gave an interview to the Ibero-American legal magazine Líder Legal, in which he analyses current developments at CMS Portugal and in the legal sector, highlighting the importance of technology and client relations for the success of law firms. 

Reflecting on how internationalisation, technological investment and an organisational culture based on leadership and knowledge transfer are redefining law firms' strategies in the legal market, José Luís Arnaut states that the competitiveness of law firms “will increasingly depend on their international scale and their ability to invest in technology”.

Analysing the current situation at CMS Portugal, the Managing Partner states that integration into CMS ‘clearly constitutes a competitive advantage over the competition’ in that it has made it possible to improve operational efficiency and speed up processes that would traditionally require large amounts of time and resources.
