Our Managing Associate, Mariana Coentro Ribeiro, was named Lawyer of the Year in the Tax category at the Forty under 40 Awards, organised by Iberian Lawyer.
Mariana Coentro Ribeiro's practice primarily focuses on transactional tax advice, including the analysis, structuring, and implementation of foreign investments in Portugal and Portuguese investments abroad, as well as financial transactions, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring. She also has experience in asset management, personal and family asset structuring, and tax litigation, with a particular focus on tax inspections and disputes, both before tax authorities and courts and arbitration tribunals.
The Forty under 40 awards recognise Portuguese and Spanish lawyers under the age of 40 for their performance in complex transactions, having developed innovative legal solutions that add value to their clients' businesses over the last 12 months.
