Tiago de Magalhães named Lawyer of the Year at the Forty under 40 Awards
Our Managing Associate, Tiago de Magalhães, was named Lawyer of the Year in the Employment category at the Forty under 40 awards, organised by Iberian Lawyer.
Tiago de Magalhães is a Managing Associate in the Employment & Pensions practice area, a member of the ESG Task Force, and has also served as Social Sustainability Officer since 2024. With over 17 years’ experience, he provides employment and social security advice to all types of companies, with a focus on corporate sustainability, employment litigation, recruitment under special schemes and day-to-day support for businesses. He is recognised for his negotiating skills in contract terminations and for his expertise in pay inequality, inclusion, diversity and the prevention of forced labour. He is also a trainer on topics such as the gender pay gap, pay transparency and labour compliance, and is a regular contributor to the media with opinion pieces and specialist legal commentary.
The ‘Forty under 40’ awards recognise Portuguese and Spanish lawyers under the age of 40 for their performance in complex transactions, having developed innovative legal solutions that have added value to their clients’ businesses over the past 12 months.
