João Quintela is an Associate in the Energy & Climate Change practice.
His work focuses primarily on Energy Law, Environmental Law and Regulatory Law. He provides legal advice to national and international companies, particularly in relation to the licensing, financing and operation of wind and solar energy projects, as well as, more recently, data centre projects, including the negotiation, review and drafting of key sector contracts.
In the field of Environmental Law, he provides ongoing advice on matters related to waste management, treatment and recovery.
Additionally, he has been involved in several transactions, advising on due diligence processes in the areas of Energy, Environmental and Regulatory Law.
Joined CMS Portugal in 2024.
