Patrick Dewerbe is a Partner and heads the Tax and Private Clients team and is part of the ESG Task Force.
He has over 25 years of experience advising domestic and international clients. His main area of focus is tax legal advice, with particular emphasis on Private Clients, corporate reorganisations, real estate, energy, and financial transactions. He has also been representing clients on tax litigation proceedings, in administrative and judicial actions, including proceedings before the Tax Administrative Arbitration Court (Centro de Arbitragem Administrativa Tributária).
Patrick has been individually ranked for Tax, by Chambers Europe, for the past 19 years and he is recommended for Tax by Legal 500, 2025. He is also recognised as a Highly Regarded Practitioner for Tax Controversy by ITR World Tax, 2024 and recognised for Tax, by Best Lawyers for the past years, Moreover, he is ranked as Recommended for Corporate Tax – Advisory by WWL, 2023 and he is also acknowledged as a Highly Recommended for Tax Law by Leaders League, 2026.
