International law firm CMS has advised ST Pharm Co. Ltd., a major Korean pharmaceuticals manufacturer, on two complex and interconnected acquisitions.
The cross-jurisdictional CMS team, led from Singapore and including teams from Spain and Switzerland, assisted ST Pharm in acquiring a 70% stake in Swiss contract laboratory services and histopathology company, AnaPath Services, whilst simultaneously advising AnaPath Services on its 100% acquisition of Spanish contract research organisation, Envigo CRS.
With the completion of the acquisition of these two companies, ST Pharm intends to launch a new business line focused on medical testing and analysis.
