Lebogang is a corporate and commercial attorney.

Her areas of practice include general corporate and commercial law (with a focus on mergers and acquisitions). 

Lebogang has advised and acted for domestic and international clients who operate in various industries and sectors including the financial sector, manufacturing, food and beverages, media and entertainment, information technology, mining, aviation, energy and construction. 

She served her articles of clerkship at Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs Incorporated where she gained her experience as a corporate and commercial associate, subsequent to which she joined Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr Incorporated and later DM5 Incorporated. 

Lebogang holds an LLB and Advanced Company Law Certificates (I and II) from the University of the Witwatersrand, and is a member of the Law Society of the Northern Provinces.

  • Public Investment Corporation (on behalf of the Government Employees Pension Fund) - in relation to its equity investment in the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) for approximately USD 100 000 000. 
  • Metier - in respect of its disposal of EGH Elementum. Deal value and details confidential. 
  • Anglo American’s BEE affiliate - in relation to the disposal by Anglo American of the disposal of various coal mines. Composite transaction to the value of approximately ZAR 1 625 000 000. 
  • The State Information Technology Agency - in relation to its agreements for the provision of broadband network services to the Western Cape Government, for approximately ZAR 3 000 000 000. 
  • Airports Company South Africa SOC Limited - in relation to the standardisation of its commercial agreements including, amongst others, supply agreements, service level agreements and lease agreements. 
  • Department of Home Affairs - in relation to the “Who Am I Online” (or “WAIO”) system. 
  • Hansen Industrial Transmissions N.V - in the disposal of its 100% shareholding in Hansen SA to Invicta’s subsidiary, Bearing Man Group.
