Thulaganyo is a Tax and Exchange Control Attorney based in CMS South Africa.

She has experience in providing legal advisory services on aspects dealing with administrative, constitutional and tax law. Her experience includes instituting and opposing tax disputes and general litigation on behalf of a broad client base from telecommunications, public, manufacturing, construction and engineering, media and entertainment sectors.

As an extension to her dispute resolution experience, Thulaganyo has been involved in the conducting of forensic investigations for state-owned entities and municipalities.

  • Revenue authority – providing advise and appearing to oppose a dispute involving the interpretation of section 24C of the Income Tax Act (RSA).
  • Private equity company – in the course of an acquisition transaction provided advise on the value-added tax (VAT) status and compliance of a company operating (target company) in South Africa and is part of multijurisdictional consortium.
