CMS South Africa stands with national and global efforts to end Gender-Based Violence, including the rapidly growing threat of digital violence against females. South Africa has declared GBV a national disaster, and globally with 1.8 billion females requiring protection from digital harm.
As a United Nations Global Compact Signatory, CMS South Africa advanced its human-rights commitments through the “Not On My Watch” campaign, a male-led initiative addressing Gender-Based Violence and digital violence against women.
This campaign strengthens awareness, improves behavioural accountability, and aligns with COP30’s Belém Gender Action Plan by promoting protection, gender inclusion, and human-rights principles. With 80% of our employees being female, CMS South Africa remains committed to gender equality, women empowerment, transformation and the advancement of SDG 5 and SDG 16.
We stand aligned with the UN Global Compact and COP30’s Belém Gender Action Plan.
