Thomas Böhm is an insurance lawyer and leading expert in litigation & arbitration. He is a partner at CMS and a member of the insurance law team. 

Böhm advises and represents leading national and international clients in all areas of insurance law. He also has extensive experience in drafting and reviewing insurance contracts and in advising foreign insurance companies on their entry into the Austrian market. This includes the adaptation of existing insurance contracts to market practices and the Austrian legal framework. He also focuses on solving all kinds of insurance supervisory law issues. He also advises on matters of insurance distribution law. 

As a member of the Litigation & Arbitration team, Thomas Böhm already looks back on extensive and long-standing experience in litigation. He represents companies, especially insurance companies, in contentious disputes before the Austrian courts.

Thomas Böhm joined CMS in 2010. Previously, he worked at several renowned law firms in Vienna. He studied law at the University of Vienna and at King's College in London.
