To further strengthen its customer focus and innovative strength, ALPLA will acquire KM Packaging and integrate all six of its sites, along with its existing management and personnel. Binding transaction documents were signed on 23 June 2025 and closing remains subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities. The integration of KM Packaging's business units will immediately and comprehensively expand ALPLA's product portfolio and significantly increase its capacity to produce closures for tubes, bottles, and jars for a variety of markets, including food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.
CMS is the lead legal advisor to ALPLA throughout the acquisition process, providing comprehensive advisory services from initial transaction structuring, due diligence support, negotiation/signing of the transaction documents and on regulatory approval clearance.

We are proud to be involved in a transaction that brings together two internationally active companies with future-oriented visions and ultimately benefits customers, stakeholders and the entire packaging industry."
